Where Tupac's ex-girlfriend is now and his heartbreaking children plans before murder

Tupac Shakur’s murder has dramatically been brought back into the spotlight in recent days after Nevada police executed a search warrant which reignited the rapper’s murder investigation.

According to NBC, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have been reportedly looking for laptops and other electronic devices at the home of a gang member who said he was in the car when the rap legend was fatally shot in 1996.

Prior to his murder, Tupac, popularly known by his stage name 2Pac, was an American rapper who first made his presence known in 1991 after the release of his debut album, 2Pacalypse Now.

From there he became a central figure in West Coast hip hop for his conscious rap lyrics.

He later went on to become one of the greatest artists of his era, selling 75 million albums to date and his memory still lives on as fans constantly contemplate what actually happened to the star with countless wild conspiracy theories.

But aside from his rapper lifestyle, what was Tupac’s personal life actually like?

Did Tupac have children?

Unfortunately, Tupac was murdered before he has the chance to welcome children into the world – despite his grand plans to do so.

In 1995, Tupac tied the knot with his girlfriend Keisha Morris at Clinton Correctional Facility, they both had planned to have children, but the pair split before he died.

Speaking to Source magazine, Keisha recalled: “When we got married, Tupac said he wanted to have kids; his publicist and our close friend Karen Lee was shocked to see how much Tupac had changed. She had never heard him talking about marriage or children.

It turns out Tupac had even “picked out names” for his future children and had plans to pack up and “move to Arizona” according to Keisha.

The rapper was fond of the names “Star,” for a girl and “Michelangelo” if they had a son but Keisha told the publication: “I liked Star, but not Michelangelo.”

Although it was never confirmed that Tupac had children beyond his marriage to Keisha, fans have come up with another conspiracy theory that states he may have secretly had kids.

Where is Keisha Morris now?

As for Keisha, she was widely recognised for being Tupac’s first and only wife but following their split she went on to become an actress and an educator.

She is known for her role as Lisa’s friend in the comedy movie The Bag Man and she also also worked as a camp counsellor in 1994.

Now, Keisha lives a pretty low-key life with little being known of what shes up to now.

How did Keisha meet Tupac?

The rapper met Keisha in the run-up to his high-profile trial after being acquainted at a nightclub the year before he was incarcerated when she was 20 years old.

“We were dancing, and we spoke briefly. He was going through something legally at the time, and I told him to just be careful of the people he’s around and that I hope everything works out,” Keisha told XXL magazine.

“I saw him a month later at the Tunnel [another nightclub], and he remembered the whole conversation…He gave me his number, and I gave him my house number. The next day, I had to go work…and he called me when I got home. We started talking from that day on.”

However, their relationship felt short as when Tupac was released in 1995, their marriage was annulled.
