Suki’s left humiliated but is grateful when Kathy consoles her over her husband’s betrayal.
Later on, both husbands are taken aback when they see Suki and Kathy playing poker in The Vic.
As the game grows more intense, the stakes get higher when the Greek cruise is up for grabs.
However, an arrogant Nish doesn’t think Suk will lose and believes she can beat Kathy.
In the end, his wife loses and Kathy reclaims her honeymoon with Rocky.
Since the Christmas death flash-forward episode, viewers believe it could be Nish who is the victim lying on the floor surrounded by the six women.
However, actress Gillian Taylforth doesn’t seem to think Nish stealing the honeymoon money is a motive for murder.
She told The Mirror: “I don’t think it could be linked to [Christmas]. But karma is a great thing. And he does get a comeuppance for that, anyway, for stealing my honeymoon. Don’t worry about that. I can’t say much more than that.”
Revealing he knows Nish is the top contender to be the victim, soap star Navin Chowdhry teased the main clue is to follow the cufflinks that were shown on the dead body.
Although they originally belonged to Nish, fans saw copper Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) get given them in a recent game of poker.
Could the long-running character meet a gruesome end over the festive season? Or will the cufflinks make their way to another victim?
EastEnders continues Mondays to Thursdays on BBC One at 7.30pm.
