Jenner opened up about her tense conversations with Woods about the indiscretion in a June 2019 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
‘I called her and she didn’t really say anything, she was just, like, you know, crying the whole time,’ Jenner said of Woods at the time.
Jenner said that she chastised Woods for not thinking about Khloé, True or herself prior to the incident involving Thompson.
Woods – estranged from Kylie, and by extension, the Kardashian family – turned to another famed Hollywood family as she appeared on Red Table Talk in March of 2019.
In the appearance, Woods explained to Jada Pinkett Smith that the kiss she shared with Thompson did not involve tongues and was not passionate.
‘He just kissed me … it was a kiss on the lips,’ she said. ‘No tongue … no making out.’
Woods said she never had sex with Thompson, and it was ‘never a consideration’ to take things further with him.
Woods also revealed that she received advice from Will Smith – a colleague of her late father’s from their time working together on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air – about how to weather the storm of a scandal.

She said Smith – years before his own scandal after slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars – told her in a FaceTime call, ‘What I want to say to you is the world attacks, it just happens … you are supported.’
She said that no other romantic activities occurred in their exchange: ‘Never once was I giving him a lap dance, making out with him, sitting all over him … my butt was never on him. My legs were dangling over, so I picked them up and put it onto the bottom of his legs.’
In the chat, Woods said that her friendship with Jenner had likely collapsed in the wake of the scandal: ‘At this point it’s gone too far and enough is enough.’
In the interview, Woods claimed that she made multiple attempts to apologize to Kardashian over the lapse.
‘I did as much apologizing as I could do over the phone, over the text,’ Woods said. ‘And until I get the opportunity to talk face-to-face, could she really feel, you know, what I was saying?
Woods said that she went as far as to offer to take a lie detector test to assuage Kardashian that her interactions with Thompson were minimal.
Kardashian took to social media to push back against Woods’ claims, saying that she never made an effort to directly contact her over the sensitive issue.
‘Why are you lying @jordynwoods??’ Kardashian said. ‘If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!’
