Emmerdale’s Amy Nuttall lays out ‘strict rules’ for Andrew Buchan after co-star 'fling'

Emmerdale’s Amy Nuttall and Broadchurch actor Andrew Buchan are reportedly back together after rumours the latter had a fling with his BBC co-star, Leila Farzad.

Reports now claim that Amy, 41, has laid out “seven strict rules” for her husband of 11 years as they give their marriage another go.

According to The Sun, the rules include that Andrew, 44, must have no contact with Leila, 39, they must have access to each other’s phones and he must stay in contact via FaceTime if he is working away.

A source also told the publication that Amy and Andrew have adopted the “777 dating rule” which means they go on a date every seven days, a night away every seven weeks and a holiday every seven months.

They said: “No one thought they could come back from this but Amy has decided to give it one more go.

“Whilst Andrew has been the breadwinner and Amy has slotted more into the mother role in their household, they will become equals in terms of work.”

Express.co.uk has contacted Amy and Andrew’s representatives for comment.

It was reported that the couple had split back in February after Andrew allegedly struck up a romance with Leila on the set of the BBC crime drama, Better.

Amy then shared a cryptic message on social media the day after Valentine’s Day.

The post read: “I am not impressed by money, social status or job title. I’m impressed by the way someone treats other human beings.”

Three months later, Andrew was seen wearing his wedding ring which sparked rumours that they had reconciled.

Leila was also seen with her husband James Maizels in March, with the pair still wearing their wedding rings.

Andrew and Amy married in 2012 after dating since 2007. In 2015, the actors announced that they had welcomed a son.
