Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 31, has revealed her thoughts on her conversation with now soloist Jesy Nelson, 31.
The Wings singer was caught in an alleged “feud” with Jesy and rapper Nicki Minaj, 40, over an Instagram Live, where the Anaconda hitmaker claimed Leigh-Anne had attempted to ruin her former bandmate’s solo career.
The rift began when leaked Instagram messages made public in 2021 alleged that Leigh-Anne had accused Jesy of “blackfishing”.
Her conversation revealed that she felt Jesy was appropriating black culture with darkened skin and a controversial hairstyle.
The singer who left the girl band in 2020, appeared with Nicki for Jesy’s solo video Boyz.

Speaking to British Vogue, Leigh-Anne has spoken out about the drama and said she has been too busy as a working mum to address the rumours.
“I found myself in this massive drama on Twitter, maybe a month after giving birth, and one of the babies smiled at me for the first time.”
She added: “Well, this puts everything into perspective, doesn’t it?”
“All I had to do was put the phone down and it went away, because it’s not real.”

Nicki also claimed Little Mix fans had been bullying Jesy and described the band as “jealous miserable clowns”.
Following the live stream, the Anaconda singer tweeted at Little Mix fans for allegedly negatively impacting Jesy’s mental health.
The same year the band told Stella magazine that they had aimed to address the issue.
Jade Thirlwell, 30, stated: “We don’t want to talk about the video, or be critical, but one thing we will clarify regarding the blackfishing situation is that Jesy was approached by the group in a very friendly, educational manner.”
Perrie Edwards, 29, also made the group’s stance on the matter clear: “Capitalising on aspects of blackness without having to endure the daily realities of the black experience is problematic and harmful to people of colour.”
The blonde star and mother-of-one continued: “We think it’s absolutely not OK to use harmful stereotypes.
“There’s so much to say on that subject that it’s hard, to sum up in a sound bite.”
Little Mix disbanded in 2022, with Leigh-Anne set to release new music having collaborated with rapper Stormzy for her debut solo album.
