A German porn star and Big Brother contestant has been elected onto a local council in the country following news she was having an affair with a prominent married MP.
Annina Ucatis-Semmelhaack, 44, was elected onto the municipal council of Elmshorn, northwest of Hamburg, on Monday.
It comes just months after it was revealed she was having an affair with Free Democratic Party (FDP) MP Hagen Reinhold, a 45-year-old father-of-three.
The former adult actress – who is a member of the FDP and regularly updates her social media followers with snaps of her campaigning and meeting with constituents – is now an elected FDP member. The party received 10.4 percent of the vote in Elmshorn.
‘I am really so happy. The hard campaigning paid off. I will not disappoint my voters,’ she said, speaking to German newspaper Bild.
She thanked her supporters on Instagram: ‘Just as motivated as in recent weeks, we are now going to work with a strong team @fdpelmshorn. Once again I would like to thank all my fellow Liberals for their efforts, because only together have we achieved this great result.’

Ucatis, an economics graduate who was previously married to millionaire real estate mogul Theodor Semmelhaack, 65, starred in German Big Brother on its ninth season in 2009 and previously made her name in films such as Big T** A-List and Busty C*** Worshippers 2.
She scandalised German politics in 2022 after starting a relationship with Reinhold – who was married with three children – following an internship in his Bundestag office.
Reinhold, chairman of his party’s Eastern division, shocked Berlin after swapping partner of 16 years Karoline Preisler, 51, for double-G cupped Ucatis.
On Instagram at the time, Ucatis said: ‘It’s a great love and we’re going into a happy future together.’

Meanwhile her new partner added: ‘We got to know and love each other in the FDP.’
After news of the affair emerged, Reinhold’s embittered ex posted on Twitter: ‘The past few months have been bitter for me.’
She said: ‘After years with Hagen Reinhold (…) and politics in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, there is something new to do.’
A friend of hers commented: ‘Is this a joke?’
But Preisler replied: ‘No, it is love.’
She explained she would be moving back to Berlin and giving up politics after working as an MP in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the northeast of Germany.
In June last year, Ucatis posted a photo with Reinhold of the pair sitting down during their ‘mentoring and skills training’, showing their close bond as the pair stare deeply into each other’s eyes.
She said at the time: ‘During the last week of the German Bundestag session, I visited the office of Hagen Reinhold, MdB.
‘The team gave me a very warm welcome and involved me in the political work.

Since the initial scandalous reveal, she has frequently posted a number of pictures alongside the MP, showing off their now-public romance.
Ucatis also runs her own real estate agency named Holsteiner Grund & Boden, following her previous marriage to the real estate mogul.
After completing her economics degree, she swiftly traded academics for a career in porn on 1998, which lasted until 2010.
After her marriage to Semmelhaack in 2013, she worked for his housing company and began describing herself as an entrepreneur before a switch in 2022 to a career in politics.
Ucatis previously made headlines in 2019 when New York Police Department allowed her to take a private tour of their headquarters without any apparent explanation.
The X-rated star shared photos and videos of the Real Time Crime Center among other sensitive areas of the NYPD’s One Police Plaza and at the Security Coordination Center at 55 Broadway.
In the series of posts, the 40-year-old actress poses in front of a variety of NYPD paraphernalia. A uniformed man appeared in several of the photos.
