The Summer House drama is heating up — and fans of the show have found themselves divided over Danielle Olivera and Lindsay Hubbard‘s friendship-ending feud.
During Monday night’s (May 8) episode of the hit Bravo show, Olivera completely broke down when she learned that Carl Radke (Hubbard’s then-boyfriend) failed to include her in planning his marriage proposal to her BFF. In fact, she only found out he was officially getting on one knee shortly before the group was heading to the engagement party.
“I’m glad Carl included me in the whole thing because that’s really fucking cool,” Danielle sarcastically said. “It says a lot without saying anything … Am I going to be invited to the wedding? Who knows? It’s such bullshit.”
Olivera — who previously raised concerns over how quickly Hubbard and Radke were moving in their relationship — noted that she’s “happy for them” but also referred to the couple as “assholes” for excluding her from the big moment.
Things only intensified when Olivera spent much of the engagement party venting her troubles to other attendees. She told one partygoer, “I only learned about this an hour ago. I’m pissed off,” while she told another, “I call out the bullshit when I see it … I can tell you in my heart of hearts, I don’t think I deserved what is going down.”
When news got back to Hubbard, she told cameras, “You acted a fucking fool. You made my entire engagement — the happiest moment of our lives — about you,” before later saying Olivera’s behavior was “the icing on top of what you’ve done all summer. Not only are you not my best friend anymore, but you’re not my friend. Zero. Zilch. Done.”
Meanwhile, many fans took to Twitter to express their frustration with Olivera.
“Idgaf if you’re on Lindsay or Danielle’s side this season, everyone should agree that the way Danielle acted the night of the engagement and at the party was absolutely beyond disrespectful,” one wrote.
Another added, “I wish someone would sit danielle down and be like WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU RN, what’s really going on?! Because this reaction… it’s unhinged.”
However, not everyone was #TeamLindsay. Other fans fully understood why Olivera was hurt.
“Team Danielle deadass and I don’t wanna hear otherwise,” one wrote, while someone else posted, “Unpopular opinion: team Danielle !!!! If my best friend threw away 7 years of friendship because I voiced ONE opinion about her relationship , I would also be losing my mind all summer long.”
