Sky’s best deals are now better with the firm revealing two blockbuster new deals including its fastest speeds which are now much cheaper than before. Those signing up for Sky’s ludicrously fast 1Gbps downloads usually have to pay a hefty £58 per month for the privilege but that price has now been slashed to just £53. That means over the course of the 18 month contract there’s a total saving of £90 to be made.
There’s also another big deal on Sky’s Ultrafast 145Mbps plan which has been dropped from £38 per month to just £30 – that’s one of the lowest prices we’ve seen for these speeds.
As a quick guide, those with 145Mbps broadband could download a full HD movie in around four minutes – that’s twice as fast as the current UK average. Anyone switching things up to the 1Gbps plan will find they can whizz that same movie to their TVs in under 40 seconds.
This ultimate plan is also perfect for gamers with a 50GB blockbuster title taking just 7 minutes to arrive on consoles – that’s compared with 1 hour and 40 minutes on a standard connection.
