Shaken fans took to social media to repost a moment they had spotted as they couldn’t believe their eyes.
Just after 10am before King Charles III arrived at Westminster Abbey, a “grim reaper” esque figure seemed to take a stroll past the Abbey.
Viewers asked “Am I seeing things?” as they shared the clip they’d filmed and reposted.
In the footage, someone sporting what appeared to be a black cloak and a scythe walks past.
Eagle-eyed fans who spotted the dark, death-representing creature were left spooked by the sight of one on such a celebratory occasion.

As guest stars, members of the Armed Forces, the Royal Family and more made their way into the Abbey for the service, the mysterious figure made its presence felt.
It is unknown who the haunting figure actually was, but it is believed by some to have simply been a member of the clergy.
Taking to social media, many explained how concerned they had been left.
