ASAP Rocky also struck a fashionable look pairing a black blazer and tie with a white shirt, jeans and a kilt, paying homage to the honouree of the evening the late designer Karl Lagerfeld who had a penchant for tartan.
Fans had been eager to spot the couple on the carpet after the rapper had been seen earlier in the day running through crowds and jumping over fences at their New York City hotel.
