A private service will take place at a local church, and it is believed Paul’s life will then be honoured at Port Lympne Safari Park, Kent.
Paul was a regular visitor of the attraction, and his loved ones say he would have wanted animals he loved so much to feature in his funeral.
There will be a special opportunity for locals to pay their respects when he is laid to rest.
In an announcement shared on Facebook by Paul’s husband Andre Portasio – the latest details of the funeral were explained.
Andre wrote: “I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of support and love I have received since the passing of our beloved Paul O’Grady.”
Those in Aldington have been invited, on Thursday afternoon to stand on the side of the main roads in the village as the procession passes through.
