Julie Karlosbarry Brawny said: “White vinegar, then if you use washing detergent liquid or capsules, stop using it and go back to washing powder.

“Since I changed back 12 months ago I’ve had no issues with buildup in my machine and it doesn’t smell bad anymore.”
