WTMG’s Kyle Nicol: “This shift back to the franchises original premise makes it a much more compelling game, albeit one that is steeped in a lot of the same issues. Despite being a huge improvement, its unfortunate Hello Neighbor 2 cant find its footing, as it stumbles from one encounter to another without any real cohesion. If you are a huge fan of the original, you may or may not like changes made to the core design. However, if you are like me and hated the original, then Hello Neighbor 2 does show a shimmer of potential, although the franchise still has a really long way to go.”
