Kim Kardashian's 42nd birthday celebrations are cut short as sister Kylie Jenner's jet returns to LA

Kim Kardashian’s 42nd birthday celebrations were cut short when a private jet chartered by her half-sister, Kylie Jenner, was forced to return to Los Angeles after harsh winds were determined to be too dangerous to fly through.

The star documented her evening through videos shared to her Instagram Story, with the first few showing her hopping aboard the plane which was headed to Las Vegas.

According to Kardashian, she and her family were set to host a party at Carbone Las Vegas before heading to singer Usher’s sold-out residency at Park MGM.

Kardashian and her birthday crew  made the most of their premature return to Los Angeles by stopping by a local In-N-Out Burger for a quick meal.

Kardashian’s first videos showed her hopping onto the plane, which was decked out in birthday decorations.

The reality television figure left little to the imagination of her followers as she wore a low-cut sparkling bikini top and skintight leggings en route to Las Vegas.

She accessorized with a sizable necklace that featured a cross pendant, and her platinum blonde hair fell onto her shoulders.

The mother-of-four made a point of sharing a video of herself taking a Jello shot, and others had been provided to the passengers on the plane.

The media personality returned to Instagram less than an hour later to report that her guests would not be able to land in Las Vegas due to hazardous wind conditions.

‘well our sound won’t turn on here BUT the plane couldn’t land due to the wind so looks like our Carbone party and @usher concert isn’t happening,’ she wrote.

‘We are heading home.’

Attempting to salvage the evening, Kardashian was treated to In-N-Out burger. Due to her risque birthday look, Kardashian said she ‘had to take a boa to cover up’ inside the fast food joint.

Kardashian and her crew then hopped onto a party bus to enjoy the rest of their evening. She later shared a video of herself taking a shot and added a text graphic to her clip that read: ‘The jello shots continue on the party bus to no where.’

Though Saturday didn’t go as planned, Friday evening couldn’t have been more perfect for the star who enjoyed a birthday dinner in Calabasas, California.

The star looked nothing short of sensational in a completely sheer lace gown, which displayed her black lingerie underneath.

As she prepared to ring in the rest of her special day with an intimate bash with her loved ones, including sister Kourtney, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner , Travis Barker, Kris Jenner and more, the reality star showed off her famous curves in her risqué frock, which hugged her sculpted curves.

For the special occasion, the mother-of-four wore her platinum blonde hair in loose waves, which cascaded down her back, as she sauntered into her office space, which was decked out with long tables adorned with dozens of candles.

She completed her head-turning look with a tiny shimmery purse, white stiletto heels with criss-cross straps that laced up to her knees, a silver cross necklace and matching ring, which were her only accessorizes for the night.

The SKIMS founder’s makeup, which consisted of a glossy nude gloss, blush, foundation and bronzer, made her look absolutely flawless as she gave onlookers a friendly wave and soft smile.

Her dress’ incredibly low neckline barely contained her ample assets as she gracefully slid out of her car before spending the rest of her evening with friends and family, before indulging in some dessert from Hansen’s Cakes.

Throughout the day, she was flooded with sweet messages across social media, including many from her famous family.

Her mom was among the first to take to Instagram to pen a message to the birthday girl, who she described as ‘the strongest woman I know.’

‘You handle everything that you go through with such incredible grace,’ Kris praised. ‘You are such an amazing example of strength and calm through anything.’

Kris went on to say: ”You are an amazing mommy, daughter, granddaughter, auntie, sister, cousin and friend. You love so hard, you are so kind, loyal, supportive, smart, funny, creative, resilient, respectful of everyone and truly the most beautiful woman inside and out!’

On Instagram, Simon Huck gave an inside look at Kim’s party while hanging out with Stephanie Shepherd.

Additionally, he shared the moment, Kim was served a white birthday white cake with buttercream frosting as friends cheered loudly in the background.
