A couple of weeks ago, one of Shelley’s fans posted some rare pictures with the actress, who had made the decision to retire from acting over two decades ago.
The fan, whose Instagram account is dedicated to Shelley, told her 16,400 followers about the day they had spent together.
“Today was such an emotional yet very exciting day with miss Shelley Duvall!” she wrote.
“We spent HOURS having genuine conversation and lots of laughs (and some cries!) but she’s such a kind, fascinating, and beautiful person I’m so happy to know… Even if she’s missing a front tooth,” she added.
“I’ll share more of a better write-up later, but just savouring the day!”
The fan has shared a few photographs and video clips with the actress over the last couple of weeks.
One showed the pair sitting at a table discussing the actress’ career, while another showed them going to the drive-in to get some coffee.
