Carlos Alcaraz produced a stunning fightback to beat Jannik Sinner in five sets and set up a US Open semi-final clash with Frances Tiafoe.
The young Spaniard, 19, was on the verge of defeat when Sinner recovered from a set down to leave himself with match point in the fourth.
That was before Alcaraz flipped the script in a remarkable turnaround at Arthur Ashe, recovering to claim the fourth 7-5 and then winning the fifth 6-3 to set up a showdown with Tiafoe in the last four.
It was an unforgettable encounter between the pair, who battled it out for five hours in New York before Alcaraz emerged victorious just before 3am.
