GAME is running a new trade-in programme which lets you get an Xbox Series X for as low as £309.99. The new incentive, which is only available in store and starts next week, lets you trade-in your old console to get money-off the next-gen Xbox from Microsoft. Depending on what console you trade-in you’ll be able to get an Xbox Series X from £309.99 to £369.99 – with the system usually priced at £449.99.
If you trade in a PS4 Pro 1TB console you’ll be able to get an Xbox Series X for £309.99, while if you trade in an Xbox One 500GB console you’ll get the Series X for £369.99.
This money saving offer, which is ideal if you want to upgrade your gaming set-up, is available in-store between Thursday August 25 and Thursday September 8.
Speaking about the promotion, GAME said: “Experience the Xbox Series X, the most powerful Xbox ever now for only £349.99 or less when you trade-in a selected Xbox One, PS4 or Nintendo Switch console with us. Simply find your unwanted console in the trade-in list below and jump into next generation gaming for less with GAME!
“Valid 25th August – 8th September.”

Advising people on how console trade-ins work, GAME said: “It is as easy as 1,2, 3. Simply bring your unwanted consoles, games or accessories in-store and speak to a member of staff at the till. They will scan each item and let you know how much we’ll pay in cash and credit for your items. Choose from cash, credit or another item in store and it’s as simple as that. Make sure you have a GAME Reward account as you’ll earn points every time you trade-in.”
To avoid disappointment make sure you phone ahead to your local store to find out if they have Xbox Series X stock available before you bring your console for trade-in to the shop.
