Supermodel Paulina Porizkova showed off her phenomenal figure in a hand-made bikini while ‘lounging around’ during her Costa Rican getaway – after enlisting her best friend to snap a ‘quick click’ of her.
The former fashion star, 57, is staying at one of the luxury Hermosa-Hills villas run by Beauty Pie founder Marcia Kilgore’s husband, Thierry Boué, which is her go-to spot when visiting her ‘happy place.’
Porizkova took to Instagram on Thursday to share the photo of her looking peaceful as ever with the caption: Just lounging around the house in my new bikini. (I bought it in a local store called Brazilian Bikinis in Santa Teresa, and have no idea of the make because I tore the labels off right away. But the lady who sold it to me said it was reversible and hand-made.)’

The former supermodel looks stunning in the photo, which shows her lying on lounge chair with her foot up on the table. Her long blonde hair is in loose waves that frame her face perfectly, and she is giving the camera a soft smile as she takes a much needed vacation with her children and best friend.
Thousands of likes rolled in without hours of the snapshot being posted, and she received plenty of comments from famous fans.
‘Jealous!! This looks amazing,’ wrote Full House actress Jodie Sweetin, while founder of hit skincare line Peter Thomas Roth responded with three fire emojis.
Earlier in the week the supermodel shared a photo of herself in a striking hot pink bikini hitting all the right angles after enlisting her son to take the photo.
She shared the bikini photo with the caption: ‘When you ask your son to do a bikini photo of you — and he’s 6’5″ and too lazy to get down to get a better angle…’
The mom has two sons — Jonathan, 28, and Oliver, 24 — with her late husband, Ric Ocasek, but it’s unclear which of her children is vacationing with her.

Porizkova revealed that she was headed to Costa Rica on Tuesday when she shared a photo of herself gazing out of an airplane window.
‘In midst of what feels like the world falling apart — I’m going to my happy place with people I love and treasure. One week of vacation with my son, my best friend, and goddaughter to celebrate their birthdays in Hermosa Hills,’ she wrote.
‘Meanwhile, sometimes the bad news in the world is just overwhelming. The seesaw of life continues. There is much to do, a lot of causes to get behind. I’m still trying to figure out how to best balance and prioritize.’
Porizkova’s vacation comes after weeks of traveling for work, including overseas trips to Germany and France. She was most recently in Los Angeles visiting her stepson Chris Otcasek’s wife, Colleen, and daughter, Olivia.

‘I realize by my posting lately, it looks like I’ve been living the charmed life. And I am,’ she explained. ‘Modeling opportunities and travel — I’m infinitely grateful.
‘But there is also real life behind all the smiles. And that one isn’t as photogenic,’ she added. ‘Real people, real pain. And I’m a little overwhelmed, so I will take this week to recharge in the best company and my happy place. And come back swinging.’

Costa Rica has become a safe haven for Porizkova, who traveled there in early 2020 when she was just months into mourning her late husband, who died in September 2019.
Porizkova came home right when most of the country went into lockdown at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. She tried to return in November with her two sons, but as soon as they landed, she learned her passport had expired, and they were put on the next plane home.
‘I had a total nervous breakdown in the airport, and they actually had to put me in a wheelchair to take me back to the plane, I was crying so hard I don’t even remember it,’ she wrote on Instagram at the time. ‘I think this will be a really funny story — soon.’
Porizkova reflected on how much her trips to Costa Rica mean to her in a heartfelt post when she visited last July.
‘I don’t know what it is about being here, but my anxiety drops to nearly undetectable, and I feel like I get to pause all the stress of life,’ she said. ‘The minute I leave, it all comes rushing in again, but aaah, I can live for those moments of peace.
‘I’m so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to come here,’ she added. ‘And for good friends who give me a hand when I need it.’
