The Museum of Food and Drink Holds Storytime

The Museum of Food and Drink has scheduled a session for children featuring Kalamata’s Kitchen, a program that explores food with books, games and other items. In the backyard of Local Roots NYC, a market and cafe, Joshua David Stein, a food writer, will tell stories about food; he will be joined by Sarah Thomas, a former sommelier at Le Bernardin and a founder of Kalamata’s Kitchen. Snacks will be served.

MOFAD Food Adventure Storytime, $5, Saturday, 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Local Roots NYC, 398 Court Street (Carroll Street), Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, mofad.org.
