Nick Cannon's baby mama Bre Tiesi says her relationship with him is 'not a cult'

Nick Cannon’s baby mama Bre Tiesi jokingly clarified that her relationship with the actor was ‘not a cult’ during an appearance on the Know For Sure podcast on Tuesday.

Bre, 31, was more cagey elsewhere in the interview, when she seemed to evade a straight answer when asked if Cannon’s seven children with four different women counted as ‘polygamy.’

The model and real estate agent is set to welcome Cannon’s eight child, while he already has a ninth on the way with Abby De La Rosa.

Bre, whose due date is October 25, according to TMZ, claimed to cohosts B. Simone and Megan Brooks that she was ‘ripped apart’ for choosing to start a family with the 41-year-old Drumline actor.

When they asked what her relationship status was with the father of her future child, she stayed vague.

‘It’s not necessarily anything,’ she told them, before adding that her ‘needs are met’ by Cannon.

When the hosts asked if they were practicing ‘polygamy,’ Bre also seemed to avoid a direct answer.

‘This is just us,’ she said. ‘This is our relationship and what you do outside of that, is what you do outside of that. Everything is respectful. Everything is honest.’

Bre announced she would be giving birth to Nick’s eight child in December 2021, and Abby recently revealed she was pregnant with what will be his ninth child.

The model was previously married to Johnny Manziel before moving on with the Masked Singer host.

Although Bre wouldn’t say exactly what their relationship was, she said she would be ‘happy’ if Nick decided to commit full-time to a single woman.

‘I love him,’ she added, before noting that it’s sometimes ‘hard’ to know he’s intimate with other women, though she tries not to compare herself to them.

Elsewhere in the chat, Bre complained that she was ‘ripped apart’ on social media for scheduling her baby’s sex reveal shortly after Nick and Alyssa Scott’s son Zen died of a rare form of brain cancer in December 2021, when he was only five months old.

‘It was a really delicate situation,’ she said of the aftermath of Alyssa’s loss. ‘I can’t imagine what she was going through. … It was all f***ed. Of course I felt bad.

‘How do I respect this person without taking away all of the things that I also want for myself?’ she mused, before mention a previous miscarriage. ‘What if I don’t have another kid so now I don’t have a gender reveal, I don’t have a baby shower, I don’t celebrate my moment and my kid? It was such a struggle.’

Bre mentioned in the interview that she didn’t currently speak to any of the women Nick shares children with, though she said she had ‘every intention’ of making sure her son has a strong relationship with his half-siblings.

‘If at any point any one of us is unhappy with the situation, we can do whatever we want to do,’ she said. ‘I know I can do that if I’m not getting my needs met or want something else. I could change my mind.’
