Kyle Rittenhouse reveals he'll join Texas A&M next year after university said he was not enrolled

Kyle Rittenhouse has insisted he will attended Texas A&M next year after the university said he was not enrolled as a student.

Last Friday Rittenhouse, who was acquitted on murder charges last year after fatally shooting two men during the 2020 Kenosha riots, announced on the Charlie Kirk Show he would be attending Texas A&M.

The 19-year-old put on a maroon A&M cap, as Kirk said ‘Wow, Kyle Rittenhouse is announcing he’s an Aggie’ – the nickname for students there.

‘I’m going to be going there, and it’s going to be awesome,’ Rittenhouse told Kirk. ‘Beautiful campus, amazing people, amazing food.’

But a Texas A&M spokesperson told the Texas Tribune Sunday he had not actually been accepted to the school and would not confirm if he had even applied.

Then on Monday Rittenhouse clarified he would be going to Blinn College and using it as a ‘feeder school’ for the university.

Rittenhouse said his arrest for murder charges ‘robbed’ him of his high school career, so he would be going to the feeder school before attending A&M in 2023.

‘Unfortunately, the end of my high school career was robbed from me. I didn’t have the time other students get to properly prepare for the future.

‘I look forward to attending Blinn College District this year, a feeder school for Texas A&M. I’m excited to join Texas A&M in 2023,’ Rittenhouse tweeted.

In subsequent tweets Rittenhouse added he would be moving to Texas by the end of the month and said goodbye to Arizona State University, posting a picture of his ID.

Rittenhouse said he is studying nursing at ASU but a spokesperson clarified he was not enrolled and did not go through the admissions process, the Tribune reported.

Rittenhouse has shown interest in the Texas university for months – back in April he posted several pictures of himself on campus with the captions ‘I’m thinking about staying’ and ‘Ready or not..’ insinuating to his followers he would soon be a student.

The 19-year-old recently made headlines for saying that Johnny Depp’s win in the defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard is ‘fueling’ him to file lawsuits against Mark Zuckerberg and up to 15 others for allegedly defaming him.

‘Johnny Depp trial is just fueling me, you can fight back against the lies in the media, and you should,’ Rittenhouse wrote, saying the news would be announced on Fox News and on his fundraising website The Media Accountability Project.

Attorney Todd McMurtry, who is representing Rittenhouse, told Fox News last week  that there will be about 10 to 15 lawsuits filed against ‘large defendants,’ including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Last year, a Wisconsin jury acquitted Rittenhouse of all charges. The charges ranged from murder to reckless endangerment.

‘My trial exposed a deep corruption in our media that cannot go unanswered. Their blatant lies, defamation, and propaganda were malicious attempts to tear our nation apart and destroy my life — and I am committed to holding them accountable,’ he said following the verdict.

‘Me and my team have decided to launch The Media Accountability Project as a tool to help fundraise and hold the media accountable for the lies they said and deal with them in court,’ he explained.

‘I don’t want to see anybody else have to deal with what I went through. So I want to hold them accountable for what they did to me, because I don’t want to see anybody have to go through what I went through.’
