The beauties wore the same white-and-yellow Halston halter dresses as they posed on a beach in Malibu.

These two stars were the biggest models of the 1980s, often appearing at fashion shows, on magazine covers, and is massive ad campaigns.

In other words, they were the Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid of their day.

Texas native Emberg appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue as well as the covers of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

And she was also in advertisements for Cover Girl cosmetics, Napier Jewelry and Calvin Klein.

Emberg also had a famous relationship: she dated rocker Rod Stewart with whom she has daughter Ruby Stewart, 34.

New York native Beverly came to fame when she became the first African-American model to appear on the cover of American Vogue in August 1974.

In 1975, Johnson became the first black woman to appear on the cover of the French edition of Elle.

She has starred on the TV show Beverly’s Full House and appeared on Ashanti.

The star was married twice: to Danny Sims from 1977 until 1979 and to Billy Potter from 1971 until 1974. She also dated Sex And The City star Chris Noth in 1990 and 1995.

Last year Johnson accused Noth of ‘beating her’, ‘making death threats’ against her, and ‘threatening to disfigure her’ in 1995 court documents, a resurfaced newspaper article has revealed.

The article – which was originally published in The National Enquirer – was posted on Instagram account Diet Prada after the Sex and the City star was accused of rape and sexual assault by two women in a bombshell report in The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the article, Johnson alleged that Noth ‘beat her’ during their relationship, and that he also made death threats against her while phoning her ‘up to 25 times a day’, threatened to disfigure her, and even ‘vowed to kill her dog’.

The publication reported at the time that ‘Beverly told a pal’: ‘I’ve never been so frightened in my life. I just can’t believe that someone who had once been so tender and sweet could turn into this raging wild man.’

Johnson also reportedly tried to get a restraining order against Noth, who was starring in the role of Detective Mike Logan on popular crime show Law & Order at the time – and strongly denied the accusations made against him by the model.

No criminal charges were ever filed against Noth – who has vehemently denied the new accusations that he raped two women in 2004 and 2015, respectively. The Sex and the City star did however admit to having ‘consensual encounters’ with both women in a statement given to THR.
