‘Survivor’ star Zeke Smith proposes to Nico Santos at GLAAD Media Awards

Zeke Smith and Nico Santos are engaged.

The two-time “Survivor” contestant asked the “Crazy Rich Asians” star to marry him during the 2022 GLAAD Media Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The surprise proposal went down four years after the two met at the same ceremony.

Smith, 34, looked dapper in a black Bonobos suit for the occasion, while Santos, 42, wore a burgundy Paul Smith ensemble.

“I said yes. You have my heart forever @zekerchief,” the “Superstore” actor wrote on Instagram.

“He said yes. I’m the luckiest guy in the world,” Smith added in his own Instagram post.

“Thank you to @glaad and @tiffanyandco for making it magical.”

The proposal comes nearly four years after Smith confirmed their relationship on Twitter.

“I guess everybody knows about my hot little 25 year-old boyfriend now. Oh, haaayyy @nicosantos,” the reality star joked in 2018.

Smith previously competed on back-to-back seasons of “Survivor” in 2016 and 2017 – “Millennials vs. Gen X” and “Game Changers,” respectively.

During his 2017 appearance, fellow queer contestant Jeff Varner outed him as transgender.

“I didn’t want to be the ‘first transgender Survivor contestant,’” he told PEOPLE at the time.

“I’m not ashamed of being trans, but I didn’t want that to be my story … I just wanted to go out on an adventure and play a great game. I just wanted to be known for my game.”

Smith admitted that he was depressed both before and after he transitioned while studying religion at Harvard.

“My confidence was obliterated, and I was afraid to dream,” he confessed. “I realized I needed to take on a big challenge to become the man I wanted to be. For some reason, that was ‘Survivor.’”
