Two people rescued one still missing after Osprey helicopter crash off Virginia coast

Two soldiers have been rescued after a V-22 Navy Osprey Tilt Rotor crashed off the  Virginia coast on Wednesday night.

One person is still said to be missing following the chopper crash.

When emergency dispatchers made contact, two passengers outside of the plane with injuries. 

The Virginia Coast Guard dispatched rescue boats and a rescue helicopter together with a police helicopter from Maryland. The Ocean City Dive Team has also been summoned to the scene.  

A call went out over the emergency radio for anyone in the waters to be on the lookout for survivors according to Shore Daily News.
