Al Pacino and Mickey Rourke looked like old friends as they were seen walking side-by-side on Thursday in Beverly Hills.
Pacino, 81, was dressed in his customary all black look as Rourke, 69, brought in more flair with a brown Gucci belt and matching shoes with shirt his unbuttoned just so to reveal his many chest tattoos.
In 2020 Mickey shared with a podcast that the two may be working together on a project soon but so far nothing has been announced.

The Hollywood icons were leaving a lunch date at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Mickey, who stands at 5ft11in, also towered over Al who is 5ft6in.
Thursday marked The Godfather’s 50th Anniversary.
When an onlooker mentioned that Thursday was the 50th Anniversary of the classic mobster movie, the legendary actor – who famously played Michael Corleone in the three sagas – said ‘Today?’ and lit up.
When asked if he knew he replied, ‘I guess I knew, Oh wow.’
Fifty years ago on Thursday the first installment of Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather hit theaters, revitalizing the career of Marlon Brando and making a star out of Pacino.

Also in the film were Diane Keaton, Talia Shire and James Caan.
Mickey wore a black shirt that was unbuttoned to show off his silver necklace and array of tattoos. The Angel Heart actor added ripped and acid washed blue denim jeans.
And he had on a pair of Gucci loafers that were beige and brown with the GG logo and a red and green star across the top with a gold buckle.
His belt had the red and green stripe with a big GG buckle.

Al wore a black jacket that read Paramount Pictures in front, adding black sweatpants and black trainers. And the legendary House Of Gucci star added black tinted glasses.
When they left the hotel, they went in for a hug by an SUV.
Al and Mickey have been seen talking at events in the past, like a party for Mr Chow 50 Years in 2018.
It’s nice to see that Mickey and Al get along because Mickey is far from friendly with another Godfather star, Robert De Niro.

They two starred in the 1987 movie Angel Heart and seem to have bad blood between them.
Rourke posted to Instagram a nasty note in 2020 along with a photo of De Niro smoking a cigarette.
‘Hey Robert De Niro, that’s right i am talking to you, you big (expletive) crybaby,’ Rourke wrote, referring to De Niro’s famed line from Taxi Driver.

Rourke claimed that he heard De Niro had called him a liar in an interview.
‘Listen Mr.Tough Guy in the movies. When i see you i swear to God on my Grandmother, on my brother and all my dogs, i gonna embarrass you severely 100%.’
The note was signed, ‘Mickey Rourke as God is my witness.’
In 2019 during an Italian TV interview Rourke said he did not get along with De Niro on Angel Heart.
