Typically seen with a sensible cropped cut above his ears, he describes himself on Twitter as “BBC Broadcast Meteorologist and former Senior Operational Meteorologist with the Met Office. Collector of accents. Responsible parent…sometimes.”
This morning, he has been the bringer of bad news as he unveiled a gloomy weather forecast with bitterly cold temperatures in store for Brits around the country.
Earlier, he shared photos of popular Greek holiday island Mykonos buried beneath layers of snow.
