Strictly’s Tilly Ramsay narrowly avoids wardrobe malfunction in backstage video

Tilly Ramsay and Maisie Smith have shared a hysterical behind the scenes look at the Strictly Come Dancing tour. In a candid video posted to Maisie’s Instagram Story, both her and Tilly were getting ready to go on stage.

The EastEnders star told followers she was “feeling the love” as she showed off all the flower bouquets sent by fans ahead of the show’s debut this week.

As the camera panned the room Tilly could be seen looking glamorous in her stage makeup and hair perfectly curled.

Still wearing her dressing gown, Gordon Ramsay’s daughter was in good spirits and started dancing before almost revealing a little too much.

It didn’t take long for the star to notice her robe was slipping and she quickly covered herself up and wandered out of shot.

The star was in fits of laughter and Maisie could be heard cracking up too.

The Strictly Come Dancing tour kicked off in Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on Thursday.

The dancers will perform 33 shows in some of the UK’s biggest arenas in Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Glasgow, Nottingham and London.

Tilly was dealt a blow when her Strictly partner Nikita Kuzmin had to pull out after testing positive for Covid.

Luckily for fans, Neil Jones has stepped in and will now dance with Tilly while Nikita self-isolates.

Other tour pairings are Sara Davies and Aljaz Skorjanec, Max George and Katya Jones, Maisie Smith and Kai Widdrington, Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu, John Whaite and Johannes Radebe, and winners Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice.

Rose, 27, has said she is delighted that this year each venue will have sign language experts to help deaf audience members.

The actress said: “I really hope this encourages more deaf people of all ages to come and enjoy the show.

“I am proud of Strictly because they listened and they just do it.

“Everyone in the crew has got deaf awareness training as well, so it is just such a lovely step.”

The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour will run until February 13.
