The Tweet said: ‘The club would like to congratulate Atalanta and Inter on an entertaining and fairly contested game of football’.

Despite Napoli mocking the nature of the game, Atalanta and Inter Milan’s head-to-head fixture provided plenty of entertaining moments.

Danilo D’Ambrosio hit the post late on as the Nerazzurri looked for a last-gasp winner. Additionally, Samir Handanovic was forced to make some important saves for the Serie A leaders.

As a result of Handanovic’s efforts, Inter Milan have now kept a clean sheet in five Serie A games in a row away from San Siro.

Meanwhile, Atalanta and Napoli remain in the UEFA Champions League places. However, Juventus are closing in on the pair with 41 points.
