Jeremy Clarkson gives 'sad' update as he fumes at 'damn council' over restaurant rejection

Councillor Merilyn Davies said: “We have to support farmers and diversification, we live in a rural area.”

Councillor Dean Temple, who represents Chadlington, said it is a “very difficult case,” adding: “With a heavy heart, I propose we reject this proposal.”

Diddly Squat became popular with visitors after being featured on the Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm last June.

The former Top Gear star had bought the farm in 2008 and it was run by a villager, but when he retired in 2019, Jeremy decided to try and run it himself.
