Claire Foy and Benedict Cumberbatch star in the new film The Electrical Life of Louis Wain. However, in a new chat, Claire admitted that her co-star had a “pathological hatred” of some of the animals they had to work with in the movie.
Speaking on the New Year’s Eve special of The Graham Norton Show, Claire opened up about working with the Sherlock star.
She admitted they didn’t see eye-to-eye over the cats involved in the film.
The biographical drama features a host of felines as Louis Wain was famous for his artwork of them.
However, off-screen, Benedict was not so convinced by his furry castmates.

The film charts from the late 1800s until the 1930s, following his life as well as the love he shared with Emily Richardson (played by Claire).
Alongside the two leads, Olivia Colman, Toby Jones and Andrea Risenborough all also star.
In a chat with Digital Spy, Benedict opened up about his thoughts of working with cats on the film.
He said: “You can fall in love with them and treat them as a little baby, which we do.
“We had to. It’s a hugely important relationship to have with that cat.
