The short-lived “Golden Girls” spinoff “The Golden Palace” is headed to Hulu — just in time for star Betty White’s centennial birthday in January 2022.
The screen legend will be turning 100 years old on Jan. 17 and the spinoff will start streaming on Jan. 10.
“The Golden Palace” aired for just one season, from 1992 until 1993, and starred most of the original cast of its predecessor except for Bea Arthur.
White, Rue McClanahan, Estelle Getty, Cheech Marin and a young Don Cheadle appeared on the CBS sitcom.
The offshoot began where its parent series left off, with Dorothy Zbornak (Arthur) having married and the three remaining women (Sophia Petrillo, Rose Nylund, and Blanche Devereaux) deciding to open up a hotel in Miami. The show follows the trio as they interact with guests and their hotel staff as well as their funny hijinks.
“The Golden Girls” series is also available to stream on Hulu so fans can catch up before the sequel premieres.
White’s birthday next month is a special one, as fans will be able to celebrate the milestone with her. A film event, entitled “Betty White: 100 Years Young — A Birthday Celebration” will debut on Jan. 17, 2022, and be in theaters for one night only.
The show will take a trip down memory lane and look at the actress’s life behind the scenes, as well as her relationships with her friends and her work as an animal advocate.
“The Proposal” star’s 100th birthday party will also be featured with a star-studded guest list that includes Ryan Reynolds, Tina Fey, Robert Redford, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, Jay Leno, Carol Burnett, Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel, Valerie Bertinelli, James Corden, Wendie Malick and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Footage from her appearances on “Saturday Night Live” and her roles on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” “Golden Girls” and “Hot in Cleveland” will be shown.
Fan love for the “Golden Girls” is still alive and well, as a convention will be heading to Chicago next April.
However, White won’t be able to attend as her spokesman, Jeff Witjas, told The Post, “No she is not. At 99 and about to be 100 [on Jan. 17], Betty no longer travels by air.”
