Jethro’s death comes as the Government urge all adults to get the booster jab amid Omicron variant concerns.
Health Secretary Sajid Javid told Sky News: “What we now know about Omicron is that it’s spreading at a phenomenal rate, something that we’ve never seen before – it’s doubling every two to three days in infections.
He added: “We’re facing a tidal wave of infection, we’re once again in a race between the vaccine and the virus.”
Boris Johnson has said scientists discovered that two doses of the Covid vaccine is “not enough” to prevent the spread.
