Shocking footage shows fatal shooting of BMW driver in the Bronx

Shocking footage released by police on Wednesday shows a Bronx shooting that left a 21-year-old BMW driver dead and his teen passenger wounded.

The trio of suspects pulled up along the victims in their own Beemer — a black sedan — and fired off several shots at the occupants of the parked SUV at East 171st Street and Townsend Avenue in Mount Eden around 10:15 p.m. Sunday.

One of the gunmen fired through the sedan’s sunroof, another shot through the rear driver’s side window and the third suspect exited the car before pulling the trigger, the video shows.

Sergio Jimenez was struck in the head and the teen, who was in the passenger seat, was struck in the hand and back, cops said.

EMS workers brought Jimenez to BronxCare Health System, where he was pronounced dead.

The woman got out of the Beemer to flag down a good Samaritan, who brought her to the same hospital, cops said.

The suspect’s were last seen driving westbound on East 172 Street. They were still on the loose as of early Thursday.
