The Met Office have put yellow weather warnings in place as a result for parts of North, West and South Yorkshire.

Even road users in North Yorkshire are being advised to consider whether they need to travel as Storm Barra brings strong winds of up to 70mph and heavy rain.

North Yorkshire County Councillor Don Mackenzie, Executive Member for Access, said: “As always, our highways teams are ready to respond to any conditions that arise, supported by our 100 farming contractors, should their help be needed in clearing snow on higher ground. We also have emergency response crews ready to react to incidents on the roads network.

“While the impact of Storm Barra is not forecast to be as severe as Storm Arwen at the end of November, we would advise anyone planning to travel to consider whether they need to.

Amanda recently admitted that has not watched rival Jeremy Clarkson’s farm show, Clarkson’s Farm which streams on Amazon Prime Video.

However, the star explained that she didn’t snub the programme for “any reason”, other than the fact that she tends to not watch TV.

Amanda made the admission during a new interview, in which she was quizzed on whether she unwinds by enjoying TV, films or music.

The television personality explained: “I’ve always listened to music, and the best thing is at Ravenseat you can turn that volume right up and nobody’s going to complain.
