First and second clashed on the banks of the Thames on Friday in the biggest clash of the Championship season so far but nothing could separate the two sides as it ended in a 1-1 draw.

Fulham dominated the first-half with chance after chance but Bournemouth skipper Steve Cook prevented the deadlock from being broken before the break. He put his body on the line not once but twice to produce a double save, denying Aleksandar Mitrovic and Fabio Carvalho’s rebound.

The whistle went for the restart and in a blink of an eye Dominic Solanke put Bournemouth ahead. In a matter of seconds, the Cherries worked the ball to Philip Billing in a move straight off the training ground, who flicked the ball over to Solanke to crash the opener past Marek Rodak.

Fulham were left frustrated time after time as Mark Travers denied chances from Kebano and Mitrovic but Tosin Adarabioyo finally broke the Cherries goalkeeper down thanks to a superb delivery from Tom Cairney.
