'Why would you carry on?' Danny Miller could be 'playing a game', says ex I'm A Celeb star

Former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmate Nicola McLean, 40, has suggested that Emmerdale’s Danny Miller, 30, could have a game plan sorted for his time on the ITV show. The model claimed the soap star could potentially be complaining about suffering from sickness and his gag reflex to influence the public to vote for him to take on one of the most memorable challenges on the programme.

Nicola, who took part in I’m A Celebrity back in 2008, said: “I’m not sure whether Danny is already playing a game because I cannot see if you are that sort of… if you gag a lot, if you’re sick, you’ve already been sick twice in the helicopter and swallowed it, why would you carry on saying this?

“Of course you know you’re gonna get the eating trial.”

Nicola went on to claim that Danny may have set his eyes on doing the gruesome eating Bushtucker Trial, which he won last night following a competition with Snoochie Shy, 29, as “it is the best trial to get”.

The reality star said: “I don’t know if he wanted the eating trial cause it is the best trial to get.

“It is disgusting but it is the best one cause it’s the one people remember.

“I’m not upset if he’s playing the game but I cant see that’s he’s not.”

She added to the Daily Star: “The soap stars are so popular, Danny wouldn’t have gotten voted for the first trial had he not gone on about the fact that he was sick so I think it could be kind of a clever game.”

Nicola went on to reveal people still want to speak to her about her eating trial, even though it happened ages ago.

“I know! And I’ve watched every series, I thought people would take pity on me,” he said.

Dec laughed and said: “And that was your second mistake.”

He went on to explain the rules of the trial, saying: “You guessed it, it’s an eating trial!

“You will compete head-to-head and the winning celebrity will feed their camp tonight. You’ll each be presented with five dishes which you must eat as instructed.
