Jake Paul has vowed to ‘completely embarrass’ the Fury family ahead of his clash with Tommy Fury as the American sent out a warning message to his rival with one month to go before they meet in the ring.

Paul, 24, takes on Fury, 22, on December 18 as the two boxing novices settle their rivalry in an eight-round contest in Tampa, Florida, where one fighter will lose his undefeated record.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer has won all four of his professional bouts but faces his toughest test yet in Fury – younger brother of heavyweight champion Tyson – who is also undefeated and boasts a genuine boxing background.

The Gypsy King joked that he would disown his younger brother should he suffer defeat to ‘The Problem Child’ and Paul predicts that December 18 will serve as a ‘complete embarrassment’ for the famous boxing clan.

He tweeted on Thursday: ‘1 month to go until December 18th and a complete embarrassment of the Fury family. Mark your calendars now to witness history in Tampa.’

Paul is certainly confident in his abilities and is undeterred in his pursuit of a career in boxing, despite strong criticism from the sport’s purists.

‘I’m the best thing that’s happened to boxing in a century, period,’ he told Bleacher Report this month. ‘The legends would agree. The Anthony Joshuas, the Mike Tysons, the Manny Pacquiaos, the Tyson Furys.

‘They’ve all said what I’m doing for boxing is a breath of fresh air. I think that debate started about a year ago – is Jake Paul good for boxing? I have silenced that, and I don’t think there’s anybody on the other side of the equation who thinks I’m bad for boxing.

‘I have a foundation where we give boxing gloves to as many kids as possible. We’re going around, renovating boxing gyms, getting the young kids inspired to box. I think this sport needed that revival.’

The WBC heavyweight champion has been training the Love Island star, and the pair are set to jet out to Las Vegas soon to train with decorated coach SugarHill Steward.
