Country singer Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren Akins announced Wednesday that they have welcomed their fourth daughter, Lillie Carolina, on Monday in Nashville.
Rhett, 31, took to the social media site with a shot of himself posed next to Akins, who was holding her newborn.
He captioned the photo, ‘Lillie Carolina Akins born November 15th. 7.5 pounds of pure joy,’ adding, ‘Lauren, you are my hero. Watching a child being born is legit a miracle. 4 under 6 here we go!’

Rhett and Akins, 32, are also parents to daughters Willa Gray, six, Ada James, four, and Lennon Love, 21 months.
Akins posted a shot on Instagram of herself kissing the newborn with the caption, ‘Our little miss Lillie Carolina Akins was born on November 15th and our family couldn’t be more over the moon about our littlest joy.’
She added inspirational lyrics from the song Jireh from Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music that was ‘inspired by scriptures in Matthew 6 & Luke 12.’
‘If He dresses the lilies with beauty and splendor/ How much more will He clothe you?/ If He watched over every sparrow/ How much more does He love you?’

Akins added she just loves ‘hearing her name as the sweetest reminder of how much God cares for us.’
Rhett revealed he and Akins, who have been wed more than nine years, were slated to have another child, this past Mother’s Day in a social media post.
‘Well… we are pregnant again!’ he wrote. ‘We are pumped to be having our 4th girl.’
In June, Rhett told People that he and his spouse realized they were expecting their fourth child while skiing in Telluride, Colorado.
‘We were on a ski lift and my wife kept saying that she was just feeling nauseous and somehow I convinced her it was from her face being burnt,’ he said. ‘I was like, “Maybe it’s just sun poisoning.” Or, “Maybe it’s this.” And she was like, “I don’t know, this feels kind of different.”‘
He continued: ‘We went and got a pregnancy test and literally within 15 seconds, there were two pink lines on the pregnancy test … it’s just wild. We always wanted five kids, so we’re just kind of working our way there.’
Rhett and Akins are parents to daughters Willa Gray, six, Ada James, four, and Lennon Love, 21 months. The family was seen celebrating July 4 earlier this year
