Travis Scott attended an after party at a Dave & Buster’s following the Astroworld Festival tragedy — but he was unaware at the time that several concertgoers were trampled to death, a report said.
The rapper “didn’t know the severity of the situation when he arrived at the party,” a source told TMZ, but once he was informed, he immediately left.
The after-party was thrown by Drake, who made a surprise appearance at Friday’s opening day of the festival at Houston’s NRG Park.
Drake also did not initially know the extent of the tragedy when went to the arcade for the party, according to TMZ.
Eight people were declared dead and hundreds of others were injured when a crush of concertgoers trampled others during the packed show.
Both rappers have since expressed devastation over the deaths in separate public statements.
They are also both being sued by a concertgoer who attended the concert and claims he was severely injured by the mayhem.
Kristian Paredes, 23, from Austin, alleges in the lawsuit that the rappers “put profits over their attendees and allowed the deadly show to go on” and “incited the crowd.”
