Adele looks glamorous in black dress leaving London Palladium with Rich Paul

Adele left the London Palladium on Saturday night with her beau Rich Paul after performing at her first concert in four years in front of a star-studded audience. 

The Someone Like You songstress, 33, looked glamorous in a sparkly black gown as she headed home in a chauffeur-driven car flanked by security.

Adele’s long-awaited return to the stage was recorded as part of an ITV special, titled An Audience With Adele, which will be broadcast on Sunday November 21. 

She looked incredible in the dress which featured statement puffy sleeves while her sports agent beau cut a suave figure in a light grey velvet suit as he clutched a glass of whiskey in the back of the vehicle.  

The beauty – who set tongues wagging yesterday when she was seen sporting a band on her wedding finger – opted for a classically glamorous makeup look and wore her hair in a perfect bouncy blow dry.  

Adele first spoke about her romance with Rich, 39, during a Vogue interview in October following months of speculation just after the couple went ‘Instagram official’ when she shared a stunning black and white snap of them together alongside a heart emoji.

Kate Garraway, Dua Lipa and Alesha Dixon led the star-studded audience in attendance at the event.

Presenter Kate, 54, looked chic in a black roll neck with matching black wide leg trousers as she posed on the red carpet while singer Dua wowed in a skimpy pink ensemble, which was made by designer Blumarine. 

Dua carried a snake print matching baguette bag in her hand while elevating her height with strappy sandals. 

 

 

After the concert was over, the New Rules hitmaker was seen making a stylish departure from the event. 

Alesha looked stunning in a black blazer which boasted cut out sleeves, which she paired with split hem black trousers. 

She completed her look with gold strappy sandals while clutching a leather black bag.   

Adele, who has recently released new music for the first time in six years, will perform record-breaking number one single Easy On Me at the gig, along with new tracks from her forthcoming album, 30 – in her first UK concert in four years. 

Adele’s celebrity friends were reportedly treated to a free bar at the event, with ‘drinks running freely’. 

A source told The Mirror: ‘Attendees were told there would be a free bar because Adele wanted to create a laid back vibe with a pub feel. 

‘It was very much about having a good time and having a laugh with her mates. ITV have pulled out all the stops and the liquor was running freely.’

Emma Watson also showed up to the event wearing a chic black jacket and a slick of red colour across her pout.  

Alan Carr cut a suave figure in a navy blue velvet blazer and black slacks, which he paired with a blue shirt. 

The comedian posed arm-in-arm with broadcaster Angelica Bell who caught the eye in a pink layered tulle skirt.  

Clara Amfo, meanwhile, looked amazing in a black tuxedo which she paired with black and white flatform shoes. 

She paired the look with a quirky box bag which resembled a dice with white spots on. 

Also in attendance of the exclusive evening was Nick Grimshaw and his partner Meschach Henry. He looked stylish in a black blacker and trousers paired with a white jumper and patterned silk shirt. 

He carried a yellow Dior bag in his hand, while Meschach opted for a knitted white jumper, black trousers and Margiela Tabis shoes.

Also walking the red carpet was comedienne Dawn French who sported her new pixie crop hair style. 

She opted for a black paisley print dress and a black bag which she clutched in front of her as she posed for pictures. 

Melanie Brown, a.k.a Mel B, looked ecstatic to be at the event as she was seen behind the barriers wearing a leopard print cropped jumper. 

Jonathan Ross attended the event with his model daughter Honey Kinney. 

The presenter donned an ochre patterned suit, with a black and white striped shirt, while Honey wore a figure hugging slinky black dress. 

Also in attendance was Grime artist Stormzy who donned a camouflage bomber jacket with a black T-shirt and trousers. 

Samuel L. Jackson, meanwhile, wore a green over shirt, a graphic T-shirt and a baseball cap for the red carpet. 

Kate Ferdinand, also gracing the red carpet, looked typically stylish in an orange blazer which she paired with brown leather flared trousers. 

Graham Norton cut a suave figure in a black patterned blazer, blue jeans and black patent shoes. 

Boy George put on a typically eye-catching display in blue bowler hat and a pink spotty denim jacket. 

He wore red trainers, which blended in with the carpet, and patchwork jeans. 

David Tennant was also in attendance, sporting bright red hair and a dapper suit. 

American actress Catherine O-Hara, meanwhile, looked glamorous in a leopard print coat as she posed with husband Bo Welch. 

Actress Suranne Jones wowed in a slinky silver midi dress which boasted frills at both the hem and the sleeves. 

Richard E. Grant wrapped up warm in a grey and black scarf as he posed for pictures on the red carpet. 

Stella McCartney looked typically chic in leather-look biker trousers paired with a sequin mesh top as she made her way into the venue. 

The acting vet opted for a blue checkered suit, which he paired with brown suede shoes.   

Philip Schofield donned a grey checkered three piece suit which he paired with a crisp white undone shirt as he posed with ex Stephanie Lowe for pictures before heading into the event. 

American actor Bryan Cranston also attended the event wearing a grey chinos and a blazer.

Television presenter Nicki Chapman also wowed on the carpet in a chic floral print black midi dress with key hole detailing above bust. 

Robbie Williams’ wife, Ayda, looked sensational in a black minidress which boasted a white lace trim round the neck.  

She wore skin tight black thigh high boots as she strutted down the red carpet. 

Former footballer David Seaman posed with his wife Frankie Poultney on the red carpet, and the couple opted for matching monochromatic black ensembles. 

After the concert, the stars came flooding out of the venue in a stylish fashion. 

Emma Watson was glowing as she made her way down the steps of the event in a monochromatic black ensemble. 

She opted for a wool coat, tights, and slip on heels. 

Others making the way down the steps included Olly Alexander, Gareth Southgate and Idris Elba. 

A glowing Suranne carried her belongings in one hand before heading home. 

An animated David Tennant looked shocked before chatting to Jonathan Ross’ daughter Honey. 

Earlier on Saturday, Adele fans gathered outside of the London Palladium on Saturday to catch a glimpse of the superstar singer ahead of her much-anticipated comeback show in the capital. 

The crowd were no doubt left disappointed when they did not get to see the Easy On Me hitmaker, 33, ahead of her performance at the historic theatre, after she slipped into the venue through a side entrance. 

The hoards of people blocked Argyll Street, where the concert will take place, and stood outside nearby department store Liberty waiting patiently.   

Adele has not been in the UK for some time due to her working on the new album in LA, but has returned for the one-off special which will be aired later this month.

The one off concert – which will air on November 21 – will also include performances of many of her classic hits in front of a specially invited audience of friends, family, fans and her own personal heroes, according to The Sun.

An insider said: ‘An Audience With Adele is going to be the starriest show on screen this year

‘They’ve invited some of the biggest names in music and celebrity to be part of the event.’

‘David and Victoria [Beckham] are unable to attend but huge stars including Noel, the girls from Little Mix and Sir Elton John have all been invited.’   

Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning ITV, said of the upcoming show: ‘As one of the world’s most in-demand stars, we are beyond thrilled to bring this one-off night to ITV.

‘Adele is a remarkable artist and this will be a very special event.’

Adele last played in the UK on June 29, 2017, at Wembley Stadium, as the finale to her 25 World Tour.

The singer took to the stage at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California for an intimate concert before sitting down with the chat show host for an interview.

Lorraine Kelly gave fans a preview of the special on Tuesday’s episode of her ITV show and said: ‘She sounds amazing doesn’t she? Looks fantastic.’  

Titles on Adele’s forthcoming release include: Cry Your Heart Out, Love Is A Game and I Drink Wine, as the powerhouse crooner gives a candid insight into her 2019 divorce from ex husband Simon Konecki.

30 is Adele’s first release since 2015’s album, 25.
