Taylor Swift is booked to sing on Saturday Night Live in less than two weeks – the fifth time she will do so in her career.

For the November 13th episode Taylor will be the musical guest and the host will be Lovecraft Country star Jonathan Majors.

Meanwhile this weekend’s episode will be hosted by Succession star Kieran Culkin with Taylor’s pal Ed Sheeran as musical guest.

Ed was diagnosed with COVID-19 last month but he revealed on Instagram this Monday that ‘SNL is still on’ as he has ‘had the all-clear and done my quarantine.’

The week after Taylor performs the host will be Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings star Simu Liu and the musical guest will be Saweetie.

Taylor’s performance will come one day after the release of her newly rerecorded version of her fourth studio album Red from 2012.

She has been feuding for years with music mogul Scooter Braun, who manages acts like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.

Their public battle of wills kicked off after Scooter bought the company that owns the masters to Taylor’s first six albums.

Now their clash has reached such a fever pitch that she is rerecording all six albums to release versions that she herself will own.

She began with her second studio album Fearless, which she dropped her rerecording of in April, and is following it up with Red.

Taylor first appeared on Saturday Night Live in 2009 around the time she first became a star and on top of singing she also hosted.

Meanwhile Jonathan is making his hosting debut on the program, having reached new heights of fame last year with Lovecraft Country.

Some of her ‘Swifties’ took the costume as a sign that she was re-recording her We Are Never Getting Back Together music video.

In the original video for the song – which was a cut off Red – Taylor is seen dancing in her pajamas surrounded by a band all dressed up as woodland critters.
