Man is beaten to death with a MANNEQUIN: South African police hunt killer who fled the scene carrying human doll

Police are hunting a man who beat a 60-year-old to death with a shop mannequin.
The suspect is on the run with the human doll in tow after the murder in the early hours of Tuesday morning in Gqeberha, which was formerly known as Port Elizabeth, in South Africa.
Col Priscilla Naidu of Eastern Cape police said while it was unknown who the suspect was he had used the mannequin to repeatedly assaulted his victim.
She said: ‘It is alleged that at about 2.30am a sleeping vagrant was awoken by the suspect.
‘When the suspect realised that he was not the person he was looking for, he then approached a male (about 60 years old) who was sitting on stairs and started to assault him with the mannequin. The suspect then ran off with the mannequin.’

The brutal killing took place in Gqeberha, which was formerly known as Port Elizabeth, in South Africa
The victim was severely beaten and died at the scene. The incident took place on Durban Road in Korsten, Gqeberha.
It is unclear whether the mannequin was clothed or bare when it was used in the brutal killing.
He has not yet been formally identified and police urged anyone who may know him or the murder suspect to contact them.
