Man slashed on legs and face during subway platform attack in Queens

A man was slashed in a knife attack on a Queens subway platform on Saturday night, cops said.

Just after 7:30 p.m. police responded to a report of a confrontation on the northbound E train platform at the 74th Street station in Jackson Heights, according to the NYPD.

There may have been one or two men who attacked the victim with a knife, leaving him with wounds on his leg and a laceration on his eye, police said.

According to one report, the second man tried to intervene and may have had a gun, cops said.

The victim was transported by responders to Elmhurst Hospital where he is expected to make a full recovery.

The attacker or attackers appear to have fled on foot, according to police.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, cops said
