Police have released footage of a preteen suspect wanted for shooting a 13-year-old boy on a Bronx basketball court on Thursday.
The suspect, known as “Chulo,” fired a shot into the knee of the teen victim who was playing basketball at the Hunts Point Playground at Faile Street and Hunts Point Avenue around 5:45 p.m., according to cops.
It was unclear what sparked the violence. The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.
The alleged shooter is believed to be 11 to 13 years old, police said.
Four other people are being sought for questioning in connection to the shooting.
