'Went completely numb' GMB’s Charlotte Hawkins rushed to check ‘suspected blood clot'

Charlotte took to social media following the episode. In view of her 242,000 followers, the host penned: “Talking long covid on @gmb, despite luckily only having mild symptoms I’ve been left with exhaustion, brain fog & leg numbness/pain that had to be checked for a suspected blood clot (fortunately wasn’t).

“Sending love to all those battling the effects & after-effects of this virus.” (sic)

Charlotte’s followers were quick to reply to her post, with many wishing the host well.

Alison replied: “Important to share and I hope you recover Charlotte. I’ve experienced a few problems myself.”

Joan added: “Awful times you are having. Can only wish you a good recovery in time. Look after yourself as best you can. You were lucky in not having the blood clots. Take Care. Sending love.” (sic)
