Gordon Ramsay stuns Strictly viewers as he breaks down over daughter Tilly's routine

Strictly fans were left feeling stunned following Tilly Ramsay’s performance with partner Nikita Kuzmin on Saturday night. The pair danced the first Charleston of the series to Yes Sir! That’s My Baby and her father Gordon Ramsay was watching in the audience. Gordon is renowned for his hard and brutal exterior, but he was left wiping away tears following his daughter’s performance.

Tess Daly pointed out the special moment as Tilly finished the dance, saying: “Your dad has shed a little tear, look. He is so proud of you.”

Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts, with Becky Chanceux saying: “Id be so proud of my daughter if she was on Strictly – love Gordon having tears.” [Sic]

Annie added: “Bit chocked seeing Gordon ramsay greetin watching his daughter dance on #Strictly. Then I’m thinking about all the folk he’s made greet in kitchen restaurants and for TV ratings. Maybe this will make him a bit kinder.” [sic]

While Tilly and her partner were speaking to Claudia Winkleman, the presenter could not help but notice Gordon was still “sobbing”.

As for who is predicted to leave the competition first, actor Greg Wise is predicted to face the first elimination.

According to Ladbrokes, 53 per cent of all elimination bets over the past week have been in favour of Greg leaving, at odds of 7/1.

Next in line are Ugo Monye and Sara Davies, both with odds of 5/2.

Rugby star Ugo was partnered with Oti Mabuse, which could mean the professional is out of luck for a hat trick win this year.

At the top of the leaderboard this week are AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington with a combined score of 65.

They are followed by John Whaite and Johannes Radebe with a score of 61 and Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu with 57.

Tilly and Nikita are in fourth place on the leaderboard, with a combined score of 55.

This week marks the show’s first official elimination week, with one of the couples set to leave the competition on Sunday night.

McFly star Tom Fletcher has been unable to take part this week, as he tested positive for Covid and is currently self-isolating.

He will return with his partner Amy Dowden next time, for week three.

Strictly Come Dancing returns on Sunday night on BBC One.
