Victoria Beckham’s favorite meal is toast — with a bizarre topping

This takes being a “fussy eater” to another level.

Victoria Beckham, practically celeb royalty, may have far-reaching access to any food she desires. So what’s the one food the former Spice Girl craves for comfort?

Multigrain toast with salt.

She confessed to her dry toast vice during an interview for London-based River Café’s Table 4 podcast, in which the food writer asked Beckham, 47, about her favorite comfort food.

She’s also a big fan of steamed vegetables.

“This is where I sound even more boring — in the food department. Ok, what do I like? I like whole grain toast with salt on it,” she replied.

After a laugh, she replied, “It’s that carb-y thing isn’t it? It’s that carbohydrate that makes you feel comforted, and I love salt. What can I say?”

The notably thin fashion designer, who reportedly shuns all manner of sugar, dairy, red meat, butter and oils, admitted to being a “fussy eater” during the show, preferring dishes of fish or poultry dishes with no-fat, low-carb vegetables.

“To most restaurants, I’m probably their worst nightmare,” said the woman who previously told Harper’s Bazaar that she loves dining with such lavish brands as the historic Claridge’s in London and Le Crocodile in New York.

The artist formerly known as Posh Spice began developing her “very healthy” diet while touring with the pop group. Eating while out on the road certainly wasn’t without its temptations, Beckham said, and that she’d have “be[en] more inclined to sit there and eat the entire contents of the breadbasket.”

She continued, “Which, when you’re eating out regularly, is probably not the healthiest. Not when you’re on tour and you’re expecting so much from your body.”

Critics on social media were quick to yuck her yum, echoing “that’s not a meal.” Others were simply shocked that a woman of her means wouldn’t partake in the finer things.

“That sounds really boring but it’s her life,” said one. Another joked, “wow how the other half live.”

However, one honest soul on the internet praised Beckham for making dry toast and salt fans of the world feel seen. They said, “Really pleased Victoria Beckham is brave enough to speak out about this in public ! I have been advocating Salt and Pepper on toast for years. Sad people are only just catching on!”
