So much went right for the Yankees this weekend — but not everything.
The Yankees should not plan on four-run eighth innings to escape with victories over playoff teams like the two they just pulled off Saturday and Sunday.
They probably should not count on winning too many games when DJ LeMahieu and Joey Gallo drop proverbial cans of corn, the latter leading to a go-ahead run by the Red Sox.
They should not plan on a long playoff run if the second-guesses about their manager are not just coming from Twitter, but from the ESPN booth. (Did you hear Alex Rodriguez questioning each Aaron Boone move last night? More on that later.)
