The Switch Lite is Potentially Holding Nintendo Back

I said it when the console was announced. The switch lite is a fully contained system and I see it as a way or elongating the switch generation. Nintendo doesn’t really need more power in their eyes so they don’t care if they go another 5 years on the switch. Because the joy cons cannot be removed, a switch 2 can’t come out and you just undo the joycons and buy the new screen, it’s a whole new system that can’t be interchanged. I also feel like they might slightly revise the joy cons so you have to buy new ones too or the whole new console.
