This is all thanks to Openaire Float-In Cinema by Häagen-Daaz, who have returned this year with a host of amazing film options. Friends can book a boat, which seats up to eight, to steer along Little Venice before parking up at Padding Basin Canal to enjoy their film.
Once the boat is moored up and ready to go, guests can purchase a selection of snacks (including Häagen-Daaz ice-cream of course!) and drinks, before settling in for their film.
This isn’t just any cinema food though – Openaire have partnered with artisan pasta pop-up RaviOllie for a gourmet Italian menu of homemade filled pasta.
If you missed out on a boat booking – or don’t have good sea legs – there are deckchairs available on dry land too.
Both options have a handy QR code, which how food & drinks are ordered, meaning no pesky queues.
